Callie Finley
I’m a Soma Therapist. As a dancer, a weightlifter, and a personal trainer, I’ve been interested and actively involved in movement and motion for most of my life. Being able to work with so many different people of various ages, abilities, and interests, I’ve noticed amazing things about the way people move. What I’ve seen not only offers fascinating clues into what someone’s body is physically experiencing but also provides insights into that person’s mental, emotional, and spiritual health. Because of personal injuries that I could not find a resolution for, I found somatic therapy and realized its benefits. It is not a cure-all, but it has allowed me to help myself heal, to settle my own nervous system, and to reset after a slip on the ice or a tough workout, and as a result, it has inspired me to help others do the same.
